Our client is seeking a QHSE Medic Officer to join their US offshore wind construction project. This contract is set to begin July 13th and last into October. The rotation schedule will either be 28/28 or 35/35. Any non-US applicants must hold a B1-OCS visa.
Job description Primary Tasks and ResponsibilitiesProvide medical care to offshore personnel, including emergency response, occupational health treatments, and accurate documentation of all cases.Maintain and operate the offshore medical facilities, ensuring readiness, functionality, and availability of sufficient medical supplies and equipment.Ensure proper documentation and filing of medical reports, compile statistics, and provide analysis and reports as required.Oversee occupational health and hygiene programs, including health surveillance, fitness-to-work monitoring, and workplace environment assessments.Assist in planning and conducting emergency drills and training exercises, evaluate medical preparedness, and recommend improvements.Actively participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks, providing medical and health-related input where relevant.Support incident investigations from a medical perspective, ensuring findings and corrective actions are documented and followed-up.Carry out medical inspections onboard, ensuring compliance with health standards, proper reporting, and effective follow-up.5 years’ experience as Offshore Medic in high-risk industries.Experience with Offshore Wind operations is a plus.Licensed Medic.NEBOSH IDIP/Certificate or similar (through experience) is a plus.Full GWOOffshore Medical.Helicopter Underwater Escape Techniques (HUET) + CA-EBS.Chester Step Test (or similar)Bi-deltoid measurementUS B1 OCS wind visa if not a US national
