The assistant Mooring Master will exhibit high standard marine skills and safety behaviours and will specifically deputize the Mooring Master in all relevant mooring operations, associated marine and custody transfers activities in order to be sure that they are performed safety and in accordance with local and maritime regulations and Company operational procedures. He will ensure that associated administrative duties are performed in a timely manner.
Job description STCW Reg. AII/2 plus DCE for Oil and/or Gas as applicable.Minimum 3 years seas service on tankers Aframax – VLCC size with at least 1 year in rank of Chief Officer.Alternately 3 years on board FPSO and at least 1 year in position of Cargo Supervisor or Cargo SuperintendentMedically fit to offshore International standards.Support all relevant berthing or mooring activities according Company Management System or equivalent whereCompany Management System is to be considered the minimum standards.Demonstrate ownership and efficiency during berthing, mooring, offloading operations including but not limited tooffload hose connection, maintaining OTT position, disconnection of hose, unmooring and all relevant associatedmarine activities.Support the operation of berthing, mooring and relevant marine activities. Assist client as required with offloaddocumentation.Co-ordinate with vessel masters and cargo surveyors for expeditious arrival and departure of offload vesseloperations.Liaise effectively with all relevant onshore and offshore departments of Company.Verify and report the effective planning for all offloading critical activities and critical equipment maintenance.
