Job description · Organising and supervising the Roughnecks.· Preparing equipment for routine operations on the rig floor.· Assisting the Derrickman.· Maintaining the equipment on the rig floor to a safe standard.· Assisting in pre-use checks.· Performing maintenance of drilling equipment. · Routine mud sampling, viscosity checks and mixing chemicals with the Mud engineer. · Cleaning mud tanks. · Signalling the Crane Operator in bringing equipment to and from the rig floor in a safe and effective manner.
