We are currently recruiting a Cook 1 to mobilise to our client’s semi-submersible crane vessel in the UK inland waters, commencing on the 29th of September for 6 weeks.
Job description The vessel will be operating within 12 nautical miles of the UK coastline. Due to the vessel’s operating location and applicable right-to-work requirements, suitable candidates must either be a UK national or hold a valid Frontier Worker Permit.Required Certification:-BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS-STCW Basic Safety Training-STCW Certificate of Proficiency Security Awareness-STCW Ships Cook Certificate of Competency-Hazard Analysis Critical Control (HACCP)-Seaman’s Book-STCW Seafarer Medical-OEUK Medical-Bi-deltoid Measurement-Right to Work in the UK Documentation Key Accountabilities:· Preparation of the menu in an efficient, hygienic and healthy manner based on HACCP requirements; · Maintenance of safe working and cleaning practices in the galley and food storage areas; · Report any unsanitary condition to the Facility Manager; · Report any defects or malfunctioning equipment; · Prepare daily menus; · Stop any unsafe or non-hygienic activity in the galley or food storage areas; · Reject any material for food preparation not complying with the hygienic criteria; · Adhere to the HMC Permit To Work system;· Ensure proper shift over / take over;
