POSITION SUMMARYTo observe record and report observations relevant to the safety and security of the ship,passengers, and crew; and compliance with company policies and procedures.In order to consistently exceed guest expectations and provide the highest levels of productand services, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS• Have a well-developed understanding of the operation and management of CCTVrecording and monitoring equipment.• Conduct real time monitoring of Ship/passenger/crew Safety and Security, andcompliance with SMS and other policies and procedures.• Immediately report to the bridge any real time security and safety observations thatmay place the ship, passengers, or crew in jeopardy.• Conduct retrospective reviews of incidents or accidents relating to theship/crew/passengers.• Undertake reviews and complete reports of injury cases reported by the SecurityOfficer.• Assist the Surveillance Manager in completing audits and risk assessments of outletstock movements and sales.
