· Safely and efficiently performing all manual labour tasks on the drill floor and BOP area under the direction and supervision of the Assistant Driller or Driller. · Operating the tongs, slips and spinner hawk to connect and disconnect drill pipe, tubular, casing and drill bits or tools.· Performing maintenance of the equipment on the drill floor.· Rig up and down procedures.· Nipple up and down care of the BOP system.· Monitor and operate the shakers. · Assist the Derrickman in the mud pit, mud pump and chemical sack rooms.· Housekeeping duties on the drill floor including washing, chipping and painting.
