Support the maintenance and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment onboard the vessel.
Job description – Valid 3rd Assistant Engineer License- Previous experience in the maritime industry.Responsibilities:Perform inspections and preventive/corrective maintenance on mechanical equipmentAssist with the maintenance of power generation, cooling, lubrication, and fuel systemsDiagnose and repair failures in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipmentMaintenance of marine equipment (cranes, pumps, valves, thrusters, etc.)Ensure compliance with the Asset Integrity Management (AIM) systemPrepare accurate and timely technical reportsApply work permit requirements and safety proceduresParticipate in audits and follow up on corrective actionsCoordinate with other departments to ensure safe operationsMonitor the use of materials and spare partsComply with the company’s safety and environmental policies
