Job description · Responsible for maintenance and repairing all mechanical equipment and mechanical devices, including diesel generators. · Monitoring on-going repairs and rebuilds to ensure safety, proficiency and co-effectiveness.· Approving and overseeing modifications to mechanical equipment and rig structure.· Maintaining current drawings and updating any modifications.· Performing daily visual inspections of mechanical equipment.· Foreseeing potential equipment malfunctions and performing trouble shooting. · Addressing potential hazards quickly and effectively.· Maintaining records of all repairs and operations.· Prioritising multiple repairs, ensuring adherence to safety and procedure regulations.· Performing and documenting risk assessments.
