Job description Data AnalystRole SummaryWe are seeking a hands-on Execution Data Analyst who can take baseline data from field surveys, inspections, and gap analysis and turn it into structured work packages and execution plans. This role goes beyond reporting: you will drive performance, variance, and schedule tracking by turning raw operational data into automated, self-updating Power BI reporting integrated with SharePoint. The right person can stand up the reporting and execution-tracking structure quickly, automate it end to end, and establish the reporting cadences, governance, and controls that keep it running reliably with minimal manual intervention. What You Will Do* Ingest, clean, and model data from field surveys, inspections, system extracts, and Excel exports, along with gap analysis, into a structured Power BI data model.* Turn baseline data into work packages and execution plans that drive performance, variance, and schedule tracking.* Build automated Power BI dashboards and progress reports, integrated with SharePoint, that refresh on a schedule with no manual rework.* Produce reporting on a defined cadence, including daily, weekly, and biweekly reports.* Automate the full reporting process, from data refresh through distribution, using Power BI Service, dataflows, gateways, and scheduled refresh.* Establish governance and controls around the reporting: data validation, version control, access management, and documentation so the output is accurate and auditable.* Use advanced Excel and macros / VBA to prepare, transform, and reconcile data where needed.* Build out the initial structure quickly and demonstrate progress early in the engagement.* Partner with project stakeholders to align on requirements, cadences, and reporting standards. What You Bring* Proven expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and dashboard design.* SharePoint experience, including Power BI integration with SharePoint. (required)* Demonstrated experience building automated, scheduled Power BI reports (Power BI Service, dataflows, gateways).* Advanced Excel skills, including macros and VBA.* Experience turning field survey, inspection, or baseline data into work packages, execution plans, or schedule and variance tracking.* Background cleaning and structuring large or inconsistent datasets.* Strong data analysis ability and a track record of turning messy data into reliable, repeatable reporting on a set cadence.* Experience establishing reporting governance, controls, and documentation.* Self-directed work style, able to build structure fast and show measurable progress in the first few weeks.Nice to Have* SQL and database querying.* Power Automate or other workflow automation tools.* Experience with operational, maintenance, or work order data (CMMS or ERP exports).
