We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager on behalf of our client.The role will be part of the project activities in the Projects, Technical Services and Late Life department project team.
Job description The responsibilities of the position may involve a wide range of activities such as:Field development of a subsea assetDecommissioning of subsea assetsManagement of M&M activitiesThe position will require flexibility in relation to the above and may therefore change over the duration of the assignment.Qualifications and experienceWe are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background and relevant experience from offshore oil and gas projects. Experience from decommissioning and late-life projects will be highly advantageous.Engineering degree or equivalent relevant technical educationSignificant experience from offshore oil and gas projectsExperience with subsea and/or offshore decommissioningGood understanding of decommissioning concepts, disposal alternatives and applicable regulatory requirementsExperience with technical studies, SOW development, tendering, and contractor follow-upExperience with preparation and/or review of regulatory documentation and authority interfacesExperience supporting project Decision Gate (DG) processesAbility to work independently and take ownership of assigned activities while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary project teamStrong written and verbal communication skills in English; Norwegian is an advantagePosition detailsLocation: StavangerStart date: As soon as possible – please indicate availabilityDuration: Until end 2027, with potential for extensionWorkload: 100%
