Atlas NextWave are currently looking for a Deckhands for a permanent position on our clients EERV which will be working in the North Sea.

Job description Rotation: 4 weeks on/4 weeks offStart Dates: Various (14th June / 16th June / 18th June) Job Summary: · The execution of duties as designated by watch keeping rota. Deckhand is responsible to the Watch Keeping Officer on Watch for any / all duties.· Responsible to the Coxswain when engaged as a Rescue Craft crew member.· Deckhands should be familiar with the use of Breathing Apparatus and possess basic Fire Fighting Skills.· Forming part of both the vessel’s on board Emergency Response team, and Rescue Craft’s whereby applicable.· Monitoring safe working practices of shore contractors during periods of maintenance· Actively promoting and progressing the company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Policy.· Actively promoting inter-departmental communications.· Stop the job when required· Ensuring all personal original certification is on board and valid when sailing including ENG1, CoC and STCW95 and OPITO. This must also include a valid passport.· Reporting any illness or injury to crewing agent that may affect his capacity on joining.Job Requirements: Suitable candidates require to have worked as a Deckhand previously preferably on an ERRV vessel. Candidates require to hold the STCW 95 certificates along with a current seafarers medical.Candidates should also ideally have valid OPITO certificates in the following· ITSO (or Medical Aid and Rescue Care)· FRC Boatman
