Job description Atlas NextWave are currently recruiting an experienced Able Seaman to join our client’s Seismic Vessel operating in the UK.This is a 6-week assignment commencing 12th August.Please note: As the vessel will be operating within 12 nautical miles (NM) of the UK, successful candidates must either be a UK national or hold a valid Frontier Worker Permit.Essential RequirementsCandidates must hold:Able Seafarer Certificate of Competency (STCW II/5)Valid STCW Basic Safety TrainingSTCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (PSCRB)Valid Seafarer’s MedicalValid HUETSTCW Security AwarenessThe RoleAs an Able Seaman, you will support the safe and efficient operation of the vessel by carrying out deck maintenance, mooring operations, cargo handling, lookout and watchkeeping duties, and assisting with emergency response activities.
