Job description Position: Business Development Manager (Marine / Offshore)Location: South KoreaEmployment Type: PermanentLanguage: Korean & EnglishIndustry Focus: Marine, Offshore, EPC & Integrated LogisticsThe OpportunityWe are supporting an international marine and logistics organisation with the appointment of a Business Development Manager in South Korea.Working closely with the General Manager, this position will support business development and commercial activities across a diverse range of industrial and project-driven markets.The role offers exposure across marine, offshore, EPC, infrastructure, renewables and integrated logistics, making it particularly suitable for someone looking to broaden their commercial experience and take on increasing responsibility within a growing local team.We are looking for a proactive, commercially minded professional who understands the EPC and industrial project environment. Experience within shipyards, marine, fabrication, oil & gas, offshore or heavy-lift markets would also be highly relevant.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the General Manager with business development and commercial activitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities across EPC, marine, offshore and industrial marketsBuild relationships with clients, contractors, project owners and other key stakeholdersDevelop and manage a pipeline of prospective customers and projectsConduct market research and identify new sectors, projects and commercial opportunitiesSupport client meetings, presentations, proposals and commercial discussionsDevelop relationships across Korea’s EPC, shipyard and industrial ecosystemWork with regional and international teams to support cross-border opportunitiesSupport the continued growth and development of the Korea businessAbout YouRelevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial or Project-related rolesExperience within EPC, Shipyard, Marine, Offshore, Fabrication, Oil & Gas, Heavy Lift or related industriesUnderstanding of offshore or project logistics markets would be advantageousCommercially minded with a strong interest in developing new businessStrong communication and relationship-building capabilitiesProactive and comfortable working within a small, entrepreneurial teamStrong Korean and English communication skillsAble to work independently and take ownership of opportunitiesWhat’s on OfferOpportunity to join a privately owned international organisationDirect teamwork experience working with the General Manager and senior leadershipDiverse project opportunities spanning cables, dredging, renewables, EPC, infrastructure and marine marketsStrong opportunities for internal progression and professional development
