Job description Atlas NextWave are currently recruiting an experienced Motorman to join our client’s Seismic Vessel operating in the UK.This is a 6-week assignment commencing 12th August.Please note: As the vessel will be operating within 12 nautical miles (NM) of the UK, successful candidates must either be a UK national or hold a valid Frontier Worker Permit.Essential RequirementsCandidates must hold:Engine Rating Certificate of Competency (STCW III/5 – Able Seafarer Engine)Valid STCW Basic Safety TrainingValid Seafarer’s MedicalValid HUETSTCW Security AwarenessThe RoleAs Motorman, you will support the Engine Room team in the safe operation, maintenance and repair of the vessel’s machinery and equipment. Duties will include carrying out routine maintenance, assisting with planned and corrective repairs, monitoring machinery, maintaining cleanliness within the engine room, and supporting engineering operations to ensure the vessel operates safely and efficiently.Previous experience onboard seismic or offshore vessels is preferred.If you meet the above requirements and are available to mobilise on 12th August, we’d love to hear from you.Apply today by sending your CV and certification
