We are currently recruiting for an experienced Offshore Rigger / Welder to join a major offshore trenching campaign supporting a renewable energy project in UK waters (inside 12NM). Due to the project location, candidates MUST hold right to work in the UK.Working onboard a specialist offshore installation vessel, you will support deck operations throughout the project, carrying out rigging, lifting, fabrication and welding activities as required. The role will also involve supporting launch and recovery operations for offshore equipment.
Job description Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out rigging and lifting operations safely and efficiently.Support fabrication and welding activities onboard.Assist with launch and recovery operations.Work closely with the offshore deck and project teams to ensure safe project delivery.Maintain high safety and operational standards throughout the campaign.Requirements:Valid Offshore Survival certification.Valid Offshore Medical.Rigger Competence Stage 3 (or equivalent).Recognised welding qualification.Previous offshore experience.Experience supporting launch and recovery operations.Strong rigging and/or welding background within offshore, marine, construction or heavy lifting environments.
