Executive Chef – River Cruises (Europe)PEOPLECONQUEST – HR is recruiting for one of our clients that is an International River Cruise Company located all around the world.EXECUTIVE CHEFDescription:Responsible for coordinating, supporting, and delivering an exceptional gastronomic service for them travelers in accordance with the company standards, while contributing to a positive work environment.Responsibilities:Practicing company valuesLeading, coordinating, supporting, motivating, training, and evaluating galley teamMonitoring and ensuring culinary service is up to the highest standardsResponsible for ensuring “mise en place”, appropriate storage, and keeping of goodsResponsible for hygiene in the galley in accordance with HACCP regulationsActively supporting and assisting culinary and restaurant teamResponsible for ordering food as well as stock, cost, and budget controlParticipating in on board events and interacting with guestsAny other duties advised by Hotel Manager/Corporate ChefSkills/Qualifications:Culinary school diploma or basic education equivalent is preferredMinimum two years of experience in the field of desired position, preferably in a 4 or 5 star restaurant and/or hotelCruise ship experience is a plusProven leadership abilities and excellent communication skillsFluency in English
