• Job details: The Vessel Performance Engineer will provide senior technical analysis of vessel performance from the Technical Performance team in Mumbai. The role requires strong sea-going engine-room experience to assess machinery and hull performance, investigate anomalies, analyse fuel consumption, and develop evidence-based conclusions that support operational and commercial decisions across the fleet. The role combines marine engineering expertise with vessel performance analysis, technical investigations, speed trials, fuel-efficiency assessment, and performance data validation. The Vessel Performance Engineer will also contribute to AI-enabled performance tools, fleet studies, charter party performance discussions, and the development of junior technical talent.
